“Urban Magic", curated by Ivar Hyden an artist and the owner of Backstreet Gallery, a downtown gallery and framing store at 43 Lawton Street, reflects and comments on urban life: from Broadways' theater row to downtown New Rochelle, from the lyrical to hip-hop, from dark streets to unabashed beauty as interpreted by the artists in photography, pen and ink, and mixed media (oils, acrylic, canvas, paper and ink). Ivar Hyden stated: “This is a contemporary show featuring some of New Rochelle’s most talented rising stars. It is not to be missed!”
