Louis Vaccaro of the Curtain Shop, who together with Maryce Cohen of IB Cohen, Co-Chairs of the BID Advisory Retail Committee, which organized this year’s Sale, stated: "I'm really excited to be part of the BID Spring Sidewalk Sale because of the many new businesses that are involved this year. New faces, new ideas and a great selection of products and services will make this event the best ever. Particularly thrilling this year is that for the first time our restaurants will set up tables for outside dining."

Many downtown restaurants will offer sidewalk dining. Taste delectable treats at Rangoli Indian Cuisine Restaurant, Bella Bella Italian Restaurant, Little Mexican Café and Alicia’s Bakery on Main Street, at Mo’s New York Grill on Memorial Highway, at Java Dreams Café on Huguenot Street and Cholo’s Kitchen and the Mexican Corner Restaurant on Lawton Street. And visit Division Street, Downtown’s new restaurant row. The sidewalk will be lined with outdoor tables and chairs featuring food from Brickyard Bistro, Kaffeine Expresso Bar, Posto 22 and Coromandel Cuisine of India. These are some of the restaurants that are making downtown New Rochelle delectable.

If you like al fresco dining in downtown New Rochelle, email your vote of support to the New Rochelle BID in care of ralphdibart@rcn.com. The BID plans to keep downtown dining outdoors through the summer as part of Dine Downtown 2009.
