New Rochelle, October, 20, 2008:
Consign It on Main, a première antique & estate home furnishing emporium officially opened its doors this weekend at its new, 5,000 square foot store at 543 Main Street in Downtown New Rochelle. More that 350 people came to celebrate their opening.

Amidst designer sofas, oriental carpets, dining room tables, antique breakfronts, sparkling chandeliers, artwork, and accessories, and with live jazz in the background, Consign It on Main owners Candice Denslow and Dom Cioffoletti welcomed friends and clients at a cocktail reception Friday evening. Ms. Denslow stated “I am thrilled with the public response to my store. We are attracting customers from throughout Westchester and beyond.”
New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson who joined the festivities said: “Quality merchandise and professional and expert service are the benchmarks of Main Street shopping and we have hit the bull’s eye with Consign It on Main. They are bringing new shoppers to Main Street everyday.”
Consign It on Main is fast becoming a destination for everything for the home. Mr. Cioffoletti stated “Our goal is to be a full service center offering a wide range of home decorating and styling services and merchandise.” Currently within this spacious emporium are Tiffany Eastman Interiors and Anthony Como of “Luxe Interiors” offering complete interior design and decorating services along with Timothy McVey’s “Tapestry Design” which provides event planning, decor and floral services as well as personal services such as home holiday decorating and personalized gift wrapping. In the coming months Consign It on Main will be hosting fashion shows and monthly musical presentations as well as special etiquette classes for children. Joining the Consign It on Main team in the future will be Pirri International hairstyling services and products.
The celebration continued on Saturday with a champagne and dessert reception featuring a piano recital by Colin Taylor. Among those in attendance were Barbara Johnson and Helen Justy, new residents at Trump Plaza. Ms Johnson remarked “The Consign It on Main team helped us decorate our new condominium.” Ms Justy added “Our friends all compliment us on our new home and the furniture that they love the most came from Consign It on Main”.

Ralph DiBart, Executive Director of the Downtown (BID) Business Improvement District who worked with Consign It on Main in facilitating their relocation to its new, larger space remarked “Consign It on Main is proving that if you have something the public wants, Downtown New Rochelle is a great location to offer it. The BID expects to see more independent businesses offering quality products and excellent services in the coming year.”
