Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra, a 12-piece group that blends New Orleans party music, soul, and secular gospel will perform a free Mardi Gras celebration concert at the New Rochelle Public Library on Sunday, February 21, at 3:00 pm. The New York City-based musicians, decked out in their finest whites (accented with the appropriate gold, purple and green of Mardi Gras), include a three-piece horn section (the Shepherds of the Wind), the gospel choir (the Voices of Reason), and a rhythm section (the Guardians of the Groove), “laying it down” for vocalist Brother Joscephus, who sings about “the pain, joy and wisdom that is in his heart.”

The people’s revelry procession to celebrate the New Year starting at 7 pm. A procession of floats, music, sparklers and joyful noise will travel along Main St. from the corner of Maple Ave., turning left onto Lawton Street and finishing at Ossie Davis Park at Library Green. A New Year’s celebration will follow at 8 pm.
