A free film series featuring cinematic versions of Shakespeare’s work with interpretive discussions led by Iona College Professors John Mahon and Tom Pendleton, co-editor of The Shakespeare Newsletter, and Prof.  Amy Stackhouse.
Thursday, April 28: The 1968 British-Italian film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, directed and co-written by Franco Zeffirelli, and starring Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey, with a discussion led by Professor John Mahon.
Thursday, May 12: 1996 film directed by Australian Baz Luhrmann and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, with a discussion led by Professor Amy Stackpole.
