Saturday, December 5, 12:30 – 2:00 pm, Free Children ages 5 and up are invited to create presents for holiday – cookie tins, decorated frames, candle holders, cookie mix in a jar, and other wonderful items suitable for giving to family and friends. Wrap them all up with handmade gift bags and tags. New Rochelle Public Library. Free.
Sunday, December 13, 2:00 pm The rockin’ group of the In-Laws and the Outlaws, four musicians spanning three generations, will perform a celebratory concert for Hanukkah and other global holidays, with songs of freedom from around the world. Sheila Dardashti, a New York City teacher and New Rochelle resident, and her son-in-law Roni Sarig, a writer and New Rochelle High School teacher, along with nine-year-old guitar-strumming Uri Sarig and six-year-old Raquel Sarig, sing songs from around the world—in a handful of languages and using a range of instruments, from the mandolin to the African drum. Sunday, December 20, 2009, 3:00 pm Sit back, relax and enjoy the holiday season with a lively concert of seasonal songs performed by the popular vocal group, the Pelham Larks. The ensemble of female vocalists will sing perennial favorites, with audience participation. Everyone leaves singing and smiling! Suggested donation of $2.00 for adults.

Wednesday, January 6 at 5:00 pm; Ossie Davis Theater Colorful festivities marking the end of the holiday season will feature a live, interactive performance by the popular musician and bilingual entertainer, Louie! Everyone gets to sample Three Kings Day bread Rosca de Reyes, from El Trigal Bakery in New Rochelle. The whole family is invited to take part in this cultural tradition.
