“Design should be felt before it is seen.  Design is Sensation, Sophistication, Dedication and Satisfaction, and not necessarily in that order.”

Susan is a long time member of the New Rochelle community. Although her previous life as a flight attendant temporarily uprooted her to Chicago, Los Angeles, Japan, and various other destinations, it has given her a valuable appreciation for international design. She has design experience in such as commercial, residential, historical, municipal, and healthcare projects.

Susan has been a designer most of her life, and has recently become a design professional. She currently attends the New York School of Interior Design, New York, NY. Susan majored in marketing at New York University, New York, NY.  She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) New York Metro Chapter and the International Interior Design Association.  She has been published in Fairfield Home Magazine and BE Magazine.

In 2007 she joined LOTHROP ASSOCIATES, LLP, a full service architectural/interior design firm based in Valhalla, New York. Susan’s projects include:

• Knickerbocker Lofts, New Rochelle, NY
• Pepe Pavilion Pawling, NY
• Patterson Residence, Bellingham, WA
• Ginsberg Residence, New York, NY
• New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Eye Faculty Practice, New York
…and many others

Prior to joining Lothrop Associates, Susan was interior decorator/owner of Simone Interiors specializing in design/installation of residential interiors and venue design. Her projects include:

• Javoir Residence, New York, NY
• Tyson Residence, New Rochelle, NY
• EINY Offices, New York, New York
