Barnes & Noble to Open Bookstore in New Rochelle
Monroe College is partnering with the bookseller to open the store.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — By this fall, New Rochelle could have a bookstore in the downtown area.
Monroe College announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Barnes & Noble College to open a 9,000-square-foot bookstore, with a Starbucks cafe, in New Roc City.
The new facility, which the college hopes to open by the fall, will replace its existing bookstore at 456 Main St. and will sell textbooks and Monroe College-branded apparel and school supplies, as well as serve the general public.
Marc Jerome, Monroe’s execuive vice president, said the new bookstore will complement the city’s downtown revitalization efforts. READ FULL ARTICLE
