New Rochelle is joining cities, such as Philadelphia, San Francisco and Paris, that provide people with free or low-cost wireless internet access. The BID has brought WiFi, a wireless broadband network, to Downtown. The BID will provide free wireless internet access within more than twenty blocks in the heart of downtown and in open space areas such as Ossie Davis Park at Library Green, the New Rochelle Train Station and New Street at New Roc City.
