Hundreds of music lovers of all ages soaked up the exuberant sounds of the Pantonic Steel Orchestra at the July 29th concert of BID Music on the Green. The clear skies and soft breezes made for a perfect evening to enjoy the eclectic mix of music superbly performed by the Brooklyn-based group of talented young people on steel drums. During the 90-minute concert, the Pantonics continually demonstrated why they are five-time champions of the prestigious Panorama Competition, inspiring unanimous calls for encores at the end of the show.
