Barbara Hansen Photographics Barbara loves the challenge of photographing people in such a way that reveals something special about their personality. She is a great photographer technically, but even more important than her creativity and lighting is her ability to put you at ease and give you the space you need to express yourself in front of the camera. Barbara has been a professional people/portrait photographer for over 35 years. First starting out in St Petersburg, Florida as a newspaper photojournalist in 1977, Barbara then moved to New York in 1984 to face the myriad of challenges shooting for business magazines, public relations and design firms. Barbara now covers photography assignments in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and California.
