I paint because it makes me happy; When I work with my paintings I’m enjoying of whatever may be desire. The beginning of my portraits is by understanding of the environment and by doing a very careful graphite drawings and studies.

When I get into my work, there is a process of combining and mixing my pigments base in a perception and feeling that go from inside out and making the physical world become only dark and light. I work with oil base pigments because allowed me to make work in a long period of time and mentally in a constant action of push and pull, positives and negatives until find the balance.
