Faith Goldstein fine art Life in this studio, and at home, is all about the search for 'balance.' What a job it is, to keep priorities in check; to know what is important and to use those lesser things to further highlight what we hold dear. As an artist, I use photography to stop time. I am an image collector, appreciative always of the life that happens before my eyes. I search for the value in the photograph itself, or see the picture amplified—first, the memory of where and when it was taken (a country landscape or a gathering of people), and then, the painting it might become! What size will it be? Ah... a big question—oil or acrylic? I am still searching for balance here, and the answers to these and many other questions. What I know is this—I am on a Journey and I am happiest here.
