Artists Biography:
I am a Ukrainian born artist that is living and working in NY. I graduated Lehman College with honors in BA Studio Art and minor in Theater; concentration in painting and stage make-up. In 2007 I graduated from Westchester Community College, majoring in Fashion Merchandise; To further my business background and interest in the arts, I was inspired to create MODHArts gallery. Since 2009 I have exhibited in several galleries, venues and art fairs. Artist Statement: “ ...Series of watercolor and graphite portraits are hand drawn based on a certain photograph that I choose from a collection. I choose a photograph that shows the most or particular feature of the model or photograph with an interesting composition. In watercolor background I associate colors, mood or scenery with personality of the model or personality traits that my model has.”
