Then start the winter holidays on Thursday, December 1, at 5:00 PM at Me morial Plaza with the traditional City/Chamber Holiday Lighting Ceremony celebrating Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanza with benedictions and song. Santa Claus will make a special guest appearance and then move to New Roc City on weekends where Santa will hear children’s holiday wishes and for family photos. During December attend our many downtown FREE BID Family Days and New Rochelle Library family activities and events. MORE>
On Saturday December 3rd join us at one of our most popular events, our FREE BID Make a Gift Fair. The BID staff of teachers and teens will help children ages 5 and older use their creativity to make Hanukkah and Christmas presents to give to family and friends.
Keeping with the spirit of the season, have your children help the New Rochelle Girl Scouts and FunFuzion support the Hope Food Pantry of New Rochelle by donating to their Cereal and Canned Food Drive … and when they contribute to this important cause, they will receive a special free Fuz card for games and rides at FunFuzion.
